Saswata Chatterjee back as Bob Biswas this January

Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani was not just another thriller, it was a thriller with a Kolkata connect. It had set Vidya Balan apart as the undercover agent in the guise of a pregnant woman. But another actor who set the tables to a superior height was Saswata Chatterjee in the role of Bob Biswas. This time again he returns in the movie Bob Biswas as a supporting actor with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. Kolkata will witness shooting of the film from January 2020. 

Sujoy Ghosh’s elder daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh will be directing the movie. The movie is set in Kolkata just like Kahaani was. And like Kahaani brought out the best of Kolkata’s Durga Puja onscreen, this movie too plans to use some interesting locations of the city. Also several technicians from Bengal have been roped in for the project and quite a few artists from Bengal other than Saswata will feature in the movie.
