Shuttle Service introduced between Kavi Subhash and Shahid Khudiram metro stations – GetBengal story

The West Bengal government has taken a special initiative to assist commuters after the temporary closure of Kolkata Metro’s terminal station, Kavi Subhash.
Under the initiative of the state transport department, a shuttle bus service has been introduced to facilitate metro passengers in the New Garia area. These buses are operating between Kavi Subhash Metro Station and Shahid Khudiram Metro Station. The service will continue until the renovation work at Kavi Subhash Metro Station is completed.
The shuttle buses run twice daily, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the morning and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening, covering peak travel hours. Each bus has 32 seats, and the fare has been fixed at ₹10 per passenger.
Regular commuters have benefited from this prompt arrangement, which has lessened their inconvenience and ensured more convenient travel while the station is being upgraded.
