Want to buy a recently-seized bike on e-auction? Try Lalbazar’s auction

Lalbazar wants to sell off two-wheelers through an e-auction planned on July 19 between 12 noon and 3pm. These were primarily bikes confiscated during the recent drive of the traffic police against rogue bikers of Kolkata who had been terrorizing the streets since long. Around 714 vehicles are up for e-auction out of which 631 are two-wheelers. Many well-known bike brands including KTM Duke, Pulsar 220 & 180, Yamaha Fascino, TVS Apache, Honda Activa can be laid a hand on at the auction. 

The vehicles are mostly at the Bantala and Vidyasagar Setu dumpyards. The seizures of these bikes in the recent past was made at 15 police stations including Beniapukur, Kasba and Shyampukur where maximum number of vehicles were impounded.
